I just noticed this thread over on Expo, and no one in that crowd has either seen it or is willing to go help. I don't have a winch or anything so I'm fairly useless, but I figured this crowd would be willing to put something together, or many of you might have more info on the area than I do:

What happened is they were getting into some rough terrain and tried to ride up a hill to look for a bypass and got one of the bikes jammed. From what I gather they are 8-15 miles from really anything out there if they are marching south. My friend Ryan and I are looking to head out there in the morning from Orange County in his truck with a Polaris RZR in tow. It sounds like some of the areas they are in would be tough to get to in the truck and the RZR may come in handy. Even if they make it out it sounds like we may still go because the bike still needs to get pulled out of there. What I am asking from you my friends here is any information about that area you can provide. Terrain? How close are they to any services? Etc.. I don't know the area well and it sounds like they were a little unprepared. I also have my 4wd FJ Cruiser we may take if the RZR doesn't end up sounding like a good idea. My friend Ryan is a seasoned rider and if we can get the bike free he could possibly ride it down the mountain and from there we can deal with either getting it running or finding a way to tow it out to his truck. Yea looking at it... Im at least 2 hours away.

Problem is they are "moving" its been a hour since those grids with them moving.

Well I hope they are smart enough to hang out in the wash for the night and not do too much moving around if they are trying to get rescued!

Can you provide a link to that website/thread? That location is south of the Palo Verde Nuke Plant, about 37 miles from home in a straight line. Looks like the only direct path to that area is a railroad track.
