THIS IS A FREE EVENT! There are no up front registration fees, all cost are covered out of the give-a-way drawing and t-shirt money. We are also supporting Daring Adventures (city of phoenix program to get disabed kids and adults outdoors).

The Plan:
Friday-
2pm camp is open for meet & greet time
4pm folks can go out and run Broken Arrow or other trails informally...we will match up folks and pick radio channels at that time
4pm In camp we will have a Recovery Skills Demo! Hi-lift, Winch, and other cool toys.
Dinner on your own
7pm Fireside chat time...topics might be Radio Comm, Trail Leadership, Tread Lightly (working on something special here)

Sat -
Meet up in camp 9am to hit the trails
We will be in groups of 10 and you can pick if you want to join the GPS Challenge
Lunch on the Trail
Afternoon GPS Challenge - you will get a paper with waypoints, there will be a task for each pt. Who ever returns to camp by 6pm with the best score gets a red rock trophy!
6pm Group Camp dinner To Be Annouced
7pm Fireside chats - talk about land Conservation, Adventure4x4, making a difference, gear, mods and more...

We're not camping luckily, as we have friends that live in Palm Springs, so we're staying with them and driving in each day, that should make life easier. I've did the camping bs at bonnaroo before...no fun!

Still wish I could do SedonaFest...will there be one in the fall again this year, or is this going to become the yearly time?

I can't speak for Lance, but I think the idea is yearly.

remember everyone SedonaFest is an adventure4x4.net event and I was just dumb enough to open my mouth so I ended up the go to guy...but it isn't MY event
The word from Adv4x4 is that they want SedonaFest in the Spring and BorregoFest in the Fall as the 2 big events.
As the event grows and maybe folks feel like they have run all the trails around Sedona there will be longer trips for those people to hit trails like Smiley Rock and such near Jerome/Prescott.

As a side note Allpro has opted note to be the main sponsor so I am looking for as much help as possible digging up give-a-way prizes. I will post a letter within 24hrs that you can download/print & give to any vendor you think might like to be interested in reaching out to the 4x4 community in the southwest

Post up that letter Lance, and I'll be happy to take it around to some places and see what we can do.

What are the guys from ADV 4x4 helping with? It shouldn't be up to you to pay for everything up front.

I was also thinking it might be more enticing for sponsors if you offer to but up a banner for them (that they provide) at the campground where all the activities will be happening. We should have 2 or 3 canopies at least we can attach stuff to.

Well what I really need is someone to head up the give-a-way part and since Josh & Heidi were experts at winning last time I thought it would be nice to nominate them for being in charge of this
The Adv4x4 folks are helping but since it is an Az event the majority of the work falls on us...I will have the letter up tonight or in the am.
