Anyone with an honest desire to learn can find all the evidence they need to understand something is awry with this election. Hint: it’s not on CNN. Don’t let TDS get in the way. |
I'm sure your familiar with the scenario when research is done there is a bias for the answer being sought (basically self fulfilling answers). So while I am pretty good at research in a non bias manner I was hoping some common vetted resources were already known and could be provided, but hey I get it "do your own homework".
This TDS?
www.urbandictionary.co...p?term=TDS |
Regardless of what evidence I site for you...would you consider it “vetted”. Who is doing the vetting? Main stream media? Snopes? Both are jokes. I could point to the witnesses (and their affidavits) provided by Rudy. Would that be vetted? Who vetted them? Main stream media? Snopes? Both are jokes. What about the statistical anomalies showing the spike in Biden votes in the middle of the night? Would that be vetted? By whom? Are these types of “spikes” in vote counting unprecedented? Have they happened in previous elections?
This could all be put away so quickly if votes were verified in each of these states. Show the vote. Show the voter roll. Count the eligible votes. Do it with representatives from all sides watching. Don’t hide it. Don’t brush it off as conspiracy. That is how this can be resolved and people like me, can accept the outcome. But if they just brush it off like it’s ridiculous to question it...damn right there will be people that don’t trust it.

Ah man. Please don’t. If we cannot have civilized conversations about this then there really is no hope for our country.

Mail in ballots. That's the problem. Vote in person on paper ballots, count with witness on both sides.
Until that happens I'm not going to participate any longer. I'll watch it burn while taking care of mine, and just like I've always done I'll keep providing.

So the dems can riot and burn down the country for the past four year but when the same rioters enter the white house the same people blame ME for being a Trump supporter???
I'll play nice for now. Not so much when this is all over.
Cool?

It’s strange how that works, huh?
4 years ago, the losing side was claiming Russian interference and didn’t accept the results.
Now, they are saying this election was 100% legitimate.

Is America perfect? Nope. But is America better than many options on the globe? Yep.
Thoughtful and insightful conversation as mod_muscle thrives for is what will help move a country forward.
We should all also realize the two party system is an illusion of choice and that the pendulum that sways back and forth for society norms and standards is always moving.
As modern technology and methods of communication and transportation change so should the election process/methods. Paper ballots and visual confirmation --that is not the right direction (looking at you Florida with the hanging chads).. it could create more problems such as voter intimidation and accessibility issues for population very remote or simply unable to transport themselves (think bed bound) citizens. Back when the electoral college was designed to strength the vote in slave ownership states, poor transportation and even worse communication methods, it seemed like a great idea .. but we can do better.
Is blockchain the answer? Wow that is a tough one - but at least people are exploring and researching options.

I will concede the following:
1) The presidential election for 2020 was the most participation ever for America. With new participation in larger numbers and heightened awareness by the population comes perhaps a healthy sense of distrust perhaps not.
2) Social media has been used to twist and perverse information to suit a wide range of interested parties; some domestic and other foreign. (subversion comes to mind here)
We won't solve the issues and challenges of election process and methods in this thread and we surely won't prove correct vs different correct.
But hey the enjoyment of a silly looking vehicle did bring some diverse backgrounds and viewpoints together -- and that helps make America one of the good places to live.

Thank you Homedad. I am right there with you on the frustration of the situation. So frustrated. But, like Ratfink stated, until they solve this problem I am done with voting. I do not believe the election was legit. I believe completely that it was stolen. If all Americans cannot agree that we need to verify this with participation of all sides...then the election process is a joke and I will not vote again.

Probably time to quit our jobs, go on the public dole and rely on the new 'nanny state' coming. It seems that earning a living is only valuable to support those not earning a living.
I'm sorry my "Precious" FJ didn't live to see it.
I'm bummed that I won't be getting my government provided electric motor conversion, but maybe that's a blessing as packrats eating into a lithium battery could have burned my house down too.
I'm gonna have to learn to like "Soy Latte". .👎
being "Woke"👌
And work on my political correctness. 🖖

It is interesting in the fact that Matt Gaetz utilizes several logical fallacies in the statement. Most notably straw man argument and bandwagon.
Not familiar?
yourlogicalfallacyis.com/
Hey I get it; the statement is emotional, but it wasn't off the chest (impromptu) , he had prepared notes in front of him - the statement was constructed purposely. If this is the type/construction of speech that makes a person excited for a view point then that person/audience is less informed in the end.
