The Bighorn fire has closed off 7 of my trails.
Chimney Rock
Charouleau Gap
FR 4450
Chiva Falls
Rice Peak
Red Tank
Mount Lemmon Control Road
Italian Trap.

I dread going to see what the blade has done to some of them. But worse, what the flames have done to them.

The pictures from the fire were quite impressive. Mother nature really knows how to put on a show that is for sure.

Still around too. FJ is down at the moment. Needs a new clutch pretty badly. Not sure of the expected longevity out of the stock clutch, but 140k mi seems ok? I have a Clutch Master’s internal Hydraulic slave and a new SPEC clutch waiting for install next weekend. Perusing the blue room seemed to indicate that the CM was a good Fix to the aluminum spindle wear issue.

Alive and still wheeling Smile
Not as much super sketchy stuff for a while, couple of injuries had me sticking to the kiddie rides, but still doing overland style road trips.

Just got back from Alaska. Flying was weird and sad. Got up there virus free hopefully the return was just fine, too. Saw the Juneau ‘14 TTUE a couple of times. I swear it’s darker (less faded?) than mine. Also saw a couple of well outfitted rigs. No idea where they wheel in that area. Washed and waxed my FJ right before we left. Time to go get her dirty again.
