I am looking for a person or shop to do a bit of car audio on the wife's car. It is a 2019 Mazda CX-5 with the Bloze audio.
Thus far I have visited in person:
Spoke to Q, he seemed knowledgeable and not sales pushy. He listened to the desired outcome and recommended some options. The shop seems capable and the online reviews on Google / Yelp / Facebook seem favorable.
I stopped in to Audio Techniks:
This I think is a wife/husband shop that is quite capable of building out a full show vehicle if you need them to. Knowledgeable, no BS and the product line suggested were overall decent.
of course I found the CL ads for various spots, but have no clue if legit or not.
in the past I have used
Audio Express www.audioexpress.com/
Went to 2 different locations, 1 vehicle. They do an "OK" job, often pushy on the up sales, and the installs always seemed rushed and maybe not the top quality.
Custom Car Concepts (at their old location)
They did a great job on a Volvo XC90 with a pesky special optical factory radio, install was clean and concise. When I sold the vehicle they took it back to factory. Heck writing this now.. I might have to pay them another visit for this project.
Other than DIY (aint nobody got time for that) I am curious if the collective minds have an opinion on a go to spot or person for mobile audio installations.
