I am going to Anza Borrego May 8-11. Join me. No real itinerary yet but I'll probably invite the group of retired jeepers I met out there this spring on the 9th and likely stopping by Slab City on my way out
And at least 1 night of liver abuse at Carlee's in Borrego Springs.

Depending on who ends up going, Diablo Dropoff is fun and if there's been rain there's a fun puddle I watched a half dozen toyotas avoid.

That's what winches are for.

Ran Diablo Drop Off a couple weeks ago and was very disappointed. They have signs marking the drop off as well as maps. Making it seem like it is an actual drop off. It’s more of just a dirt road that goes down a hill. The rest of the area is beautiful though, well worth a trip.

This sounds like a cool trip might be willing to go if I’m able to get the time off 👍🏻
