An easy, fun night run!



It's Halloween so come celebrate with us!

We will be doing a night run to Box Canyon Run and after we climb the waterfall, stopping to hang out and have a campfire as well as dinner.

So its a great chance to decorate your truck or yourselves and hang out!

Please bring some wood as well as your grill and food and candy

Also, feel free to camp out after you want as well.

We will start with Box Canyon from South to North (enter at Price Rd).
After dinner, will head out North via Mineral Moutain Mine road

Info about the Trail:
Box Canyon (very easy, but funl) is a signature trail, good trail for beginners and all.

Depart from Shell Station in Gold Canyon at 4:00pm (off of RT 60).

Go to airdown spot off of Price Road and then get on the trail around 5pm.


A fun run for veterans, a fun run for noobs who want to see what their truck can do and use their lights!


POTLUCK AND CAMPING LOCATION
we will be meeting in a nice clearing for the Potluck and camping. Please feel free to bring your Potluck dish as well as a bundle of firewood.

It is easily accesible - head east on the 60 (coming from PHX). Take a right (south) onto Mineral Mountain Rd. Then take a right (west) onto Gasline rd.

About 3/4 mile, take a right (past the wash) and drive into the clearing. Everything is trailer friendly here.

I will have at least 2 pounds of chicken, and many others will have food. but this is about hanging out, so dont feel like you have to rush out if you are not bringing anything for the Pot Luck

If you are camping, please bring some, so we can mooch off your fire while we pot luck

Yes, I will bring my cigars, and will have several extras

Obstacles
This is a very easy trail, only one real Obstacle, and that's the waterfall at he end of Box Canyon, on the way towards the middle of Florence Junction.

I will be spotting anyone who needs it, so don't worry, we will get you up it.
If anyone gets stuck, we will have plenty of snatch straps to get you up too

Yes, they will win the Superbowl again...

Yes. We just went last week and got 10+ trucks up in less than 30 minutes

Whatevs. I do what I want (even if I didn't actually intend to, I probably wanted it anyway).

Didn't we have to wait on another truck that was supposed to have a locker last time? That's what took up all the time at the falls last year, from what I recall.

We’re coming down.

We have not decided yet if we will do the run or just meet y’all in camp (like last year). Might do some exploring during the afternoon, setup camp and wait for the group to arrive....not sure if we’re bringing the trailer or not.
