I like what these have to offer from their design description and price, anyone have the Supersliders on their FJ? If so any reviews or other suggestions for similarly priced sliders ($400-500 shipped)?

I am not familar with the Rock-Road sliders..

I've been running the Trail-Gear sliders for 5+ years
www.trail-gear.com/TG/..._3234.aspx

They have taken severe abuse in Texas and Arizona and have not flexed one bit.
Though if I had it to do again, I might get a model with a rear bump out, that could have saved my passenger side from a beauty mark one time

there are SO many tough/heavy duty/extreme choices on the market now for rock sliders.

If you want to go factory (which are pretty good and do the job) Earnhardttoyota.com has the factory sliders for about the price you're looking

Shipping. Sad

Try to find someplace local to make a set for you. Should be some fab shops or a guy doing side-work in his garage that could knock those out for you pretty easily.

The Angry One (aka AngryTim) has the Supersliders on his FJ. When I was looking at these as a possibility for the 4Runner, he highly recommended them.

I ended up going with the White Knuckle Off-Road DOM sliders which I am super impressed with. Their version for the FJ look really nice. Fab quality on these is superb. If you buy them in bare metal, paint them yourself (which is the best idea in my opinion since you can touch them up after scratching them) you should be able to get them shipped to you for around $500.

Yes I have the Rocky Road sliders. I do not have the supersliders, although you can't go wrong with them. I've hit hard on them and they are straight as an arrow. The supersliders were not available when I bought mine.

Not sure of the sliders...but the owner of Rocky Road is a stand up guy...he sells the Airflow Snorkels and I've dealt with him on many occasions

I have a set of Rocky Road sliders up here in Prescott. They are the hitch steel square ones that snug up to the bottom of the truck. I have all the bolts for them. They are fantastic sliders.

My set is for sale

Thanks to all who replied. Talked to Dravur and we have appeared to work out a deal for his used ones, not the super sliders but the super price!

You will be happy with those sliders. Mine have saved my bacon many times.

Only got experience with the factory mall-steps (didn't handle Friday nights with kurt too well...) and the same trail-gear set calichaos mentions. Those have been through hell and back and are still rock solid. Got them used via craigslist and haven't had a day of regret yet. Ask glider how well the entire truck bounces off of them on Elvis when he was spotting me =)
