Hey everyone, fyi we are in Stage 1 fire restrictions for Coconino Forest (and possibly headed to stage 2 ;( )

So unfortunately will not be able to have any campfires during this weekend, which is certainly a bummer, but we need to do our part to keep the forests and nature safe. We can still build a circle of chairs and hang out at night, and we are bringing 2 propane fire rings so can still hang out

You can still bring propane stove/grill though and we can still cook up yumminess and such Smile

Temps look to be in the high 70's during the day and high 40's at night, so bring appropriate clothing and sleeping attire as needed

As we are just about a week out, I figured I would post some of our plans up. Y'all can join in for anything we are doing, some of it, none of it, or do you own thing. Up to you Smile

Between the 3 places this event is posted, I am guessing there will be anywheres from 8-15 groups of people, or 15-25ish people.

FRIDAY
I plan on getting up there around 10ish, setting up camp.
Heading down Schnebly Hill.

12pm - run (offroad) at Broken Arrow with Marcus and anyone else that wants to come.
Back up the hill.

4pm-ish - run (offroad) on Hotloop.
Then to end up at Schnebly Hill Vista to try and catch the sunset around 5:45-6pm

SATURDAY
Group breakfast, with Ray's amazing burritos! Feel free to contribute food if you like.

9am-ish - Depart camp Jake and I are going to ride (MTB) Snowbowl down (AZ Trail) to Schultz Creek (10am meet in Schultz Creek parking area). Let me know if anyone else wants to come so we can coordinate a shuttle up the mountain.
Not sure if Jim Gary is doing a therapy ride? if so, might tag on with them

Peggy Walker Harrison and Heide Kaderabek are going to do something easier in the morning on MTB

We might do a short hike or ride in early evening down to the Vista to catch the sunset

8pm - if you are doing anything dutchoven-ish,, please have ready by pm Smile

SUNDAY
9am - Meet at Bell Rock Trailhead - we will do two rides from here - one family friendly that is Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte Loop

And/or, some (i.e. Jake) are going to ride Slim Shady, and maybe EZ Breezy

Feel free to post up what your thoughts/plans are Smile

Lol, no fires, so no coals for dutch oven. Ray was creative and brought 15 walmart pies and whipped cream, so he won 🏆🤣😁
