so I went down the rabbit hole of kinetic rope. I think the rig needs some as part of the recovery gear.

So at this point.. are all ropes basically the same with a different label?

well known brands (advertising dollars)

www.bubbarope.com/jeeps-and-trucks
yankum.com/kinetic-rec...s-pickups/

generic brands (and plenty more)

I guess that's kind of like asking if all tires are the same.

I have had the Bubba rope (I actually have 2) for several years and love them. They hold up well toud, water, dirt, etc... and work well and are great.

A bit expensive, but one of those purchases you only do once, and for safety and recovery I thought was worth the investment

Thanks for the input, glad to hear the Bubba rope has performed well for you.
What sizing did you end up getting?

Not quite a fair comparison to tires but I get the train of thought.

In similar vain LED lights.. it used to be for offroad LED lights.. it was all brand name.. then the generics (knockoffs) came in and proved they could perform as well.

I got the 20 ft, but found that was too short, since it's 20' stretched out. I also got a 30' which is what I use primarily
