Jake and I (and Mike when he gets back) are still working on Tucsonfest. We want it too cool down a bit and let monsoons calm down so we aren't all miserable camping in the rain.

Hello all,
I'm new here, and wondering if anyone was going to chimney rock this weekend? I did Chiva Falls 2 weeks ago and had a blast.

Hi archtucsonfj, sorry I live in Mesa so I won't be going. We are all trying to get a Tucsonfest going. But we don't have a day planned. Well welcome to our non group ...group

I have to replace a AC line tomorrow (and hopefully find a place to get the AC recharged).
We just ran Chimney Rock so I don't think I want to do it again right away. And not to sound like a wuss... but with the monsoons we've been having the past couple days, I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be running that trail with flash flood possibilities. There are several sections were you are in the wash for long periods of time without much to use as an exit if the weather turns.
I'd be up for running Italian Trap and then make a right at the bottom and exit out 3 Feathers on Sunday. That's a fun trip and we aren't in the bottom of a wash for hours at a time.
