Did some work on the rig today, replaced diff oil seal, relocated ham and put on HID's

The oil seal was really easy and only took an hour or so, no pictures Sad

I relocated my ham radio from my center console to my dash under my radio, the install turned out very clean

Earlier this week Jimbolio donated a set of 7" HID's and I got them working and on the truck. After tinkering with one of the ballasts and repairing a broken case, the lights were ready to go. I used some scrap metal, welder and a rattle can to fab up a temporary mount for the lights until I get money and time to build a nice bumper.

The lights

Before HID's

After HID's

Thanks for the lights Jim, I owe you one!

alright a long overdue update on the rig. I got new seats!! Thanks to Mike (Tibbal) for the hookup and the trips down to tucson and thanks to cypher who seemed to be the only one who could get the seats out!
Seat

Fabbed up own mounts, I just cut out all the factory crap and welded steel tubes to the sliding rails

I also welded part of the gears on the reclining mechanism due to missing teeth

I also got my e-locker wired up. I scrapped my original relay design and went with one identical to glideraz's setup

My switch layout came out really clean as well. The lower switch is for the front HID's that I got from Jimbolio

And to cap it all off Mikey sent me an awesome new sticker!

Thanks to all of you who made it possible!

You should make a build thread.

Do that and I'll give you a reward

Jim, thanks for the reward, rear bumper is beginning to form! However for now I have figured out how to use it by rolling up the straps in the rear window.

Played around chiva today with John02tj, hiked around and played on 3 feathers.

The "Chute" AKA where Tibbal fell in

An added bonus for your viewing pleasure

az4runner inherited my slightly purplified Trasharoo. That was to get him moving on his swing out rear bumper so he can hang it on his tire.
