a decent TL;DR for a newbie like me.

now where did that one post go from that one person... it said something about "I can no longer recommend Expeditioneers..." go I'm guessing there is some decent drama to that one.

A big thanks to Mark/Expeditioneers for setting me up with new extended length 2.5" Icons, coil overs on the front and piggybacks in back, as well as the Icon upper control arms. And he helped me install them by doing 95% of the work. Smile No doubt it would have went a lot faster if I hadn't been talking your ears off. Hopefully I can retain all the mental notes and assist someone else in the future.

Expeditioneers has had plenty of time to straighten out my last order, but will not swap out the wrong parts I was sent. I am sitting on a $1400 pair of shocks that are 3" too long.

My application requires CAM-310025-1 14.3-22.3"

I was sent this shock 17.5-25.4"

SDHQ processed the order and claims this very long shock is fine to run. In reality I will bottom out the shock easily as there is only 4" of useable stroke remaining, yet 10" of vertical wheel travel remaining. I get the ratio of shock to wheel travel is not linear, but it illustrates the excessive body length on these shocks.

I was upfront about the shocking being installed on the truck. I needed to move mid-installation. And didn't notice the shocks were incorrect until after it was back on the ground due to the excessive ride height.

I've been getting the runaround for three months now. What do I want? The correct shocks or the option to return these shocks for a refund of most of the purchase price. I am fine with getting hit with a restocking fee to cover the scratches on the shocks.

I'm sad too George.

This is something that should be dealt with offline, not on a public forum.

Please call me direct to discuss. I have seen numerous emails from Ryan to you, SDHQ and FOX trying to get this resolved...

Thanks,
Mark

On the flip side:

Thanks very much to Expeditioneers! I love my new Icons and appreciate the help with the install this week, getting the ride height set, etc...

Appreciate it!
