No, I'm not, which is why it's a test fit. I had a hard time really enumerating my options via the web. So, we're going to give this a shot and see if it works. If I have to use spacers to get it to work I think I'm OK with that. I was looking for a more aggressive stance anyway.

I pulled the trigger. I ordered 5 285/75R16 Guard Dog M/Ts with Kedge Grip from Treadwright on Monday and they arrived today, less than 72 hours later. I don't have a 16" wheel picked out to go with them yet, but I'll be headed to 4 Wheel Parts to test fit the Pro Comp Series 87 16x8 3.75" backspace wheels in the next couple of days (hopefully). I had originally ordered the FJ Cruiser wheels off of Wheeler's Off-Road (which are the same wheel, but with 4" backspace) but they were backordered.

Also planned for this weekend is painting the grill white and installing the rear shock skids I got from Expeditioneers, which I have painted red.

I really hope I can get the tires and wheels mounted before Wheeling 101 on Sunday!

Yeah do it! I want to see them! And maybe go a few miles up the road with you to see how they are on the highway. Let me know who you get to mount them.

I bought some MT 16" wheels and they were on a Chevy truck, problem is they don't clear the front caliper, so I ordered some 1.5" wheel spacers, it should resolve my problem, the tires on them now are 315/75/16 and are huge! Would like to know how you like the tread wright tires once you've had a chance to roll on them if you like them, at the price, it seems like a good deal vs. the big stores prices! I will probably drop down to a 285.

With it being all whited out, it makes "it" look like a street pimp.

Tires/wheels are mounted and they look great, but...they rub.

I've called SDHQ and Desert Rat for a BMC but neither can get it done before Wheelin' 101 on Sunday, does anyone have any recommendations?

1. If still on, remove the front mud flaps for a little extra clearance.

2. Don't turn.

1. They've been off a while.
2. I can turn just fine, just not while moving. Smile

It was only a suggestion by the way. Hopefully you can still help with skids when I get them.... Smile

Mine still run 1 year later. There fine for another week or two.

Immense thanks to Don (puulboy) for doing a BMC on such short notice. And not only for doing it, but for obviously taking so much care in wanting to do it well.

I am thrilled with how this looks, and can't wait to get the new shoes dirty Sunday.
