In. Don't forget my 2 bags bacon cheese pastizzi.

Also possible the head dude from Trails Offroad might be coming out to camp, eat whiskey cobbler and pastizzi.

Then Florence Junction on Saturday AM.

NOW it's SERIOUS!!!

Confirmed - Todd from Trailsoffroad.com is coming to camp out!

Should be an interesting Campfire indeed. I'll be camping too.

So will Spock.

Hi IGGBrewer!

Due to the temps We usually stop having these Bonfires in May though we stopped a bit earlier this year.
We will ramp this up again in October.
I am in Oro Valley if you want to wheel out to the fire-pit in Marana for a blaze!

Hi Maltajo!
That makes sense! Thanks for the response. I am looking to get out more. I was trying to get some people up the backside of mount Lemmon tomorrow.

Do you mind adding a trip report to the trail?

1 spot left. Claim it now or forever regret you didn't.

Ok!
Blizzard just informed me that the nights are changing!
It's time to start up the AZFJ Friday Night Bonfires šŸ”„ in the desert 2017!

This month it will be Friday September 29th!
The Friday before Octobers full moon!

All you new non members will love this!

Where:
Meet up will be at the Giant (Shell gas station) on N. Dove Mountain Blvd. and Tangerine in Oro Valley, North East Corner)

6:00pm Sharp! We hit dirt 6:15.

For those of you who don't know the location of the fire pit it might be best to caravan in, (Unless of course you know where it is then just go! See page 8 on this thread for maps!) If you get to the pit first, get the fire going!

If you have a State Park Pass, make sure it's current and bring it. If you don't have one they are easy to get online. (Somebody please post a link for this)
We never have seen a Ranger out there at night but you never know.

You might want to think about bringing: Wood, something to BBQ if you want to eat, chairs, good vibes, a few cold (or HOT) ones! And bug spray! (Those buggers go away after sunset so it won't be that bad).
I will most likely have a batch of Bacon, JalapeƱo and cheese Pastizzi for you all to enjoy!

It is a great place to camp if your coming from afar, (or you plan on drinking too much!)

If people are interested in adding a run to the next day feel free to do so!

We hope to be doing this on a monthly basis so if you can't make this one look forward to catching one on the Friday before the full moon though May!

Hope to see you there!
