Needed an extra power port in the back of the FJ so I added one. And yes I have the 115v power in the back, but needed a cig-type plug back there.

And presto! No more stretching a cord all the way up to the dash!

They wanted to buy me a Fj jammer and I declined the offer, vs. the deductible

Well I replaced the kenwood with a pioneer double din, not as fancy but does the job. Also replaced my 1600watt amp with a 3200watt, I'm happy with it, but have an uneasy feeling about my house now and the neighborhood.

Pretty sure you can narrow it down to two neighbors

Put a stock roof rack on today, had to hold the garage door up with one hand and drive with the other. Guess I need to get rid of my 35's any one wanna trade? Lol

Well cut my flip up garage door to clear the roof rack, yeah... don't do this, it doesn't end well. Guess the Fj is staying outside for the tweekers to exploit!

Take the top half off the stock rack. It all unbolts - except for the plastic "H" in the back. Cut that piece or use a tube to connect. This gives you at least some rooftop carrying but is 4"-^" shorter, may be enough to clear the door.
