Hey guys and gals,
Just wanted to let you know if you hadn't heard already. The 2008 edition of "Backcountry Adventures in Arizona" is out and in stock at Barnes and Noble. I just picked mine up and I'm very impressed, although I can't compare it to the previous edition since I never saw that one.

is that the new addition of the one that looks like a phone book? Do they still make you reset your odometer 20 times on the same trail?

Yes and yes. Not really sure why they have you zeroing it out all the time.

haha, that has messed me up so many times.
ed: when's the next turn?
friend: I'm not sure.
ed: what do you mean?
friend: I think you were supposed to zero your trip meter about two miles back?
ed: what!?

Prev version is 157 as well. I'm guessing they have updated information on the trails, maybe new pictures, and ratings depending if there have been changes. Might be worth picking up. I honestly don't pay attention to their mileage thing. I just put in the GPS breadcrumbs/info and go from there.

I know the last edition was no longer being sold, I bought mine off of amazon, but it was no longer in print when I did. I bet this has a few updates, but the trails are probably all the same.
