First off, I apologize for intruding on your turf (I'm a SoCal FJ guy), but with the Adv4x4 site down, I need a bit of info and thought y'all might be able to help..

Does anyone know the two inns that were discussed as possible places to stay? I think they were the Sky Ranch and Sugarloaf Inn, but I'm not 100% sure.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Google is a wonderful thing.. The two inns are in fact Sugar Loaf and Sky Ranch. Do any of you know which is closer to the campstite?

sedona is a little town and there might be 3 minutes between the 2 hotels....

Hi koko...we stayed at sky ranch last time and it was nice...much nicer than sugarloaf from what I hear and the views are amazing. I think room rates are around $85 right now...its up the hill but maybe a little closer? Like Lance said Sedona is small and you won't be more than 5 mins away from the campground.

I think at this point there might be more Cali peeps than Az peeps going....whats up with that???

Thanks for the input.. I checked with Sky Ranch and it looks like they have rooms available, I just need to decide if I want to camp or spend $500 on lodging for Thursday through Sunday. Camping will require us to bring a good deal more gear + the trail gear. Hotelling it will only require one extra bag.. What to do, what to do?

ahhhhh I can't wait for SedonaFest!!!! Will be especially nice to be there when it isn't quiiite as cold as it was the only other time I've been there.

We are still up in the air for this..... I will be close to popping this baby out, so we may come up for one night...but we won't be camping, we'll stay at Sky Ranch.

Anyway, it will be a last minute decision based on 1.) how I feel and 2.) if we have the money. Yeap, I know the hotel is cheap and we don't live far, but we have been spending lots of dough on the baby....

Hey there! LONG TIME! We hope to make it! I'm not sure I would be going on any trails at that point.... I'm having a c-section, so I really want to avoid the whole "going into labor" crap!

She'll be on the trails before we know it! We are bringing her to Ouray, but she will be two months old, so she won't be on the trails yet, but me and her will be trucking around town!

If Bellydoc goes, I'll go. I'm having a c-section. I will need him on surgery and Lance assisting....

Is there a registration for this like the Summit? That is kinda formal...do I have to bring a tux?

More California people then Arizona because the Arizona live closer and go up more often I would say...
