I'm in for Group 2 (posted on the Meet & Greet page too), if still available.

For those that are coming from the East Valley (or staying over at the hotel), I will be leaving the Bagel Man (51st and Elliott across from the Sheraton Four Points Hotel) at 7:30am if anyone wants to go with me

I will be on CB 16 and Ham 146.46

IMPORTANT RUN INFO CHANGE

As the group will be a manageable siz (around 20 rigs), we are going to go as one group as opposed to splitting it into two.

We still have Glider up front and he will be doing all the hard obstacles with the drivers who want to do all the hard ons with him.

I will be stationed about mid-way back for the second group of drivers who only want to do some or do the bypasses and will be spotting all those trucks as needed.

IMPORTANT:
We are all going to leave at the same time - there are no longer two seperate departure times.

We will be leaving the Gas Station (info on the OP) at 8am SHARP. That means already gassed up, etc...
Our goal is to leave airdown by 8:45am at the latest if possible so we can avoid any CK traffic.

I updated the original post

So forgive me as I'm used to hanging out with a bunch of corvette guys that tend to run in a panic to get home and cover up their cars in the garage the second a tiny raincloud even shows on the horizon. But weather is calling for a big monsoon saturday. I'm assuming we will be rolling out rain or shine?

yes, we have done this trail when it rains. we are not in a box canyon or anything like that, so very little chance of flash flooding. but depending on how heavy the rains and wind, as we start to climb it can get a little tricky and need to keep an eye out for washouts on the shelf roads, etc...

Right now, it looks like it will rain, but more likely in afternoon and doesn't look like rain is heavy. We will keep an eye on it.

Shouldnt be an issue. Glider is leading, so he will be the first to go off the mountain anyway if anything happens and he has a full roll-cage, so we should know if there is a problem for the rest of us Wink

If the rain is forecasted to be heavy, the guy with the trailers might want to re-think it though due to conditions, etc...
