Anybody know if I can go from 285's to 295/75 r16's with my old man emu lift and not have any rubbing?

Depends on multiple factors...type of tire, type and size of wheel. I'm not talking about 16inch diameter but back spacing and offset. Your suspension compresses over time. Therefor your not going to have the same amount of lift as someone who lifted their truck yesterday.

Personally I'd go for it. Worst case all you'll need is a BMC.

I believe I used stock back spacing and offset.

As Finn said the backspacing on the wheels will play a big part, but I am running 305s and was ok until I added spacers, which pushed the wheels out 1.25 inches. Prior to the spacers, I only had a slight rub at full lock and the wheel stuffed up in wheel well. Once I added the spacers, then I had to do a body mount chop.

Ended up with 285 75r16 BFG KO2s.
I went with what works, so no headaches.

Sounds like a good choice.

In my experience, 285 is more than wide enough for 95% of off-road situations, and going any wider is actually worse for many other conditions; especially deep mud and fuel economy.

Yeah, i am happy with the 285s.
They rub a little at full turn so the new KO2s must be a liitle bigger that the originals, as they didn't.

yep, I recommend a BMC with 285's, especially if you plan to go off-road.

The only place my 285 KO2's rub is in the top of the wheel well when I bottom out. Easily fixed by "not jumping" (like that would happen). No BMC.

I think mine rubs on the bottom of my front wheel well / mud flap where it kinda extrudes out a little.
No BMC.
