You'll spend 1, maybe two nights in the hospital. Quick recovery time, also. It's the only way to have your upper ball joint replaced.

You should ask the Doc if you can go with uniball instead, tell them you want more flex. Smile

Everyone I know that has had this said it was far less of an ordeal than they anticipated and were back to daily activities fairly soon (with much better mobility and less pain).

The initial week or few will suck, but it really gets much better quickly.

Then wouldn't this be the Lower control arm? or is it a Trailing Link?

I always thought the upper control arm, was connected to the front wheels.

You are accurate Jimbolio. Since the hip is indeed a ball joint, and sits in line below the shoulder (another ball joint) I would guess the hip would be a "lower ball joint".
I'm just going to air down to 17 PSI and call it a day Smile

Failed my EKG, then my nuclear stress test, angioplasty on Friday. I feel fine??? Joint replacements are for pussies. This heart shit is the real deal......WTF!
