WHAT

A Good Family Fun Day!

Opening weekend for the AZ Renaissance Festival is Feb 7th (Turkey Legs!)
www.royalfaires.com/arizona/

Thought it might be fun to do an AZFJ Ren Fest Day-

Doing an early Box Canyon Run in the morning and then going to opening Day of Ren fest around 10:30 on February 7th.

Start with Box Canyon from South to North (enter at Price Rd).
Then head out North via Mineral Moutain Mine road and head back on the 60 to the Renaissance Festival

Info about the Trail:
Box Canyon (very easy, but fun and beautiful trail) is a signature trail, good trail for beginners and all.

Coming down the signature waterfall Obstacle in Box Canyon, we will go up it this time (easier than it looks)!

WHEN
Saturday, February 7th

MEETUP
Depart from Shell Station in Gold Canyon at 7:30am (off of RT 60 across from the Renaissance Fair).

Go to airdown spot off of Price Road and then get on the trail around 8am.

A fun run for veterans, a fun run for noobs who want to see what their truck can do!

we go opening weekend every year. Keep an eye out for the coupon in the paper or a flyer at Frys grocery stores. they always run a 2 for 1 special on opening weekend. You need to present the coupon at the ticket booth at the park to redeem it.

I'll pass on the wheeling that morning. but I'll definitely see you at the faire.

Don't worry too much about period correct... Everything was done "off-road" back then.

I might be interested in the wheeling but not the wenching. Not a fan of the RenFest.
