Anyone out there swap out there rear carrier for an arb or anything that has a stock one laying around? 2010+ is what i need, i had a catastrophic failure! Side gears, spider gears, locker sleeve the whole nine yards. Anything could help, with the re gear i'm in this a penny or two.

How did it fail? Just driving minding your own business or off roading up a steep hill? Try East Coast gears? Someone here used them before IIRC.

I have a trust worthy shop doing the work, not an issue, now it's a matter of replacing all the oem parts and not going broke. Anyone know of a junk yard that has a 2010+ fj in it?

yeah i just did some research in the blue room and emailed the guy who posted the add. according to just differentials they say all the locked tacomas have an 8" and unlocked have 8.4 or if it has the lsd. i guess if you have the 2010+ axle the 8.4 will bolt up. however i already bought the 8.2 4.56's lol. this is becoming a BIg time Pain in the arse
