Driving home on the 51 at 55 all of sudden a vibration like rumble strips starts..but it like super mild rumble strips but defiantly there, started... let off gas no more vibration ..hit gas at any speed vibrations .. never gets stronger or louder just the same at all speeds....Torque converter ? Tranny ? WTF ? looked under no drips or funny stuff motor seems to run fine in park seems to shift ok but who knows ! "feels" like the middle of vehicle , comes thru steering wheel when on gas.

Check your muffler bearings.

That's a pretty common pattern of findings for a ring/pinion gear tooth fracture.

It behaves different comparing between contact on the drive face and coast face of the gears, based on when you give it gas or coast.

You could check your differential drain plug magnet for metal frags.

Maybe the transmission mount broke. Look at your tranfer case shifter and see if it moves more than usual when you are accelerating.

Hmmm I thought about that if it could be possible because this symptom came on like i flipped a switch. Would it be obvious .. ive never needed to give a drive shaft wgt attn.

Usually if it throws a weight then there will be a unpainted area where the weight was

My gut is telling me it's your torque converter. My wife's 07 Camry v6 did the same thing. It would stop if letting off the throttle. Start back as soon as pushing the throttle. Didn't seem to matter what the speed was either. It was a little like having a mis-fire in the engine. Hopefully I am wrong.

Any of your tires throw off a chunk of tread?

LOL I Had actually thought about a misfire when it first happened while
I was still driving home .. because it was just a tiny vibration .
