the time i posted in the first post is really the best time frame i can give ya but to give more detail:
From the Maverik Gas Station on the North side of Payson it will take you about 15 to 20 minutes to get to the start of the trail where the camping grounds are.
One truck can probably make the trail in about an hour but depending on number of vehicles and time frame for spotting I would calculate about 3 hours.
I would take a group of about 5 vehicles anything less and your asking for trouble. We had two groups of about 15 each and it took us about 5 hours to make it through.
The drive back to the camp area will take you about 20 minutes.
Hope that explains it a little better than the first post.

I'm an idiot and for some reason completely skipped over your explanation of the length of time in the first post. Thanks for repeating it though!! The group information is always helpful as well and something we've added to the template. Thanks again for a great writeup and awesome pictures!

I edited the first post to give more details on time frame and to include a number of vehicles.

Did any of you guys make it over the first waterfall/ledge area they call "the filter" ( the one a little ways before the ledge at the end that has to be winched up ) or did everyone bypass it?
