It's been brought to my attention that battery's for the factory location are reverse poled. So would I need a Group 31R battery? I might just get the 34r for now

This usually will not work. Typically the terminals are located off center and unless you modify or replace the cables, they will not reach.

My cables had enough slack to go to the battery with opposite terminals.

Hey all,

After ten years of filling out request forms, Costco now carries the FJ Battery!!!

Same size and post config. as OEM. Only one location (Gilbert) had them at least for now. Call any Costco Tire Dept and ask them which locations have them if you need one.

As an aside: I want to buy a used RTT. I do not need one...I "want" one. lmk

What is the recommendation for FJ batteries these days?

Dang, I was late to this thread. Looks like it was already handled, but I'll go ahead and throw out my recommendation: rectangular and full of angry pixies.
VERY late to the party but i appreciated this AvE joke.
