Figured I'd start one of these threads for my build

Got the FJ, and thought to myself that I wouldn't mod it any... what a mistake.

It's quite the money pit and I love it.

When I bought it:

New-used sliders (courtesy of Mr. Jimbolio)

Factory roof rack from a fellow non-member

(Note the temporary wreath mod. Improves aerodynamics)

Also sorta courtesy of Jimbolio... saw a posting in the classifieds for a RTT for a price that I couldnt pass up. Well, I bought it and put it up this past Sunday.

I also sold the factory rack to another non member for this homemade baja utility rack. (Needed something flat for the RTT)

New tires, wheels and struts to come...

Just got some work done for the expo on friday..

The boys at the big o tire on 59th and bell did a good job

I am a big fan of the 2011 oem revolver style wheels. I think they are much better looking than the bladed ones

The tires are used Toyo Open Country M/T 295/70/17 with about 70% left. Got a great deal for about half of what new tires would cost

I also got a body mount chop done by GMG Frabrications. Joe did a great, quality job. Excellent guy.

Also replaced my old OME with new sport struts. I blew the other ones going over washboards too fast. Can definitely tell that I didn't have enough dampening with the broken struts. It's a better ride now.
