Hi All,
I wanted to let you know that I have started a local design and fabrication business called GMG Fabrications. I am a 4wheeler to the core of my being. I own a 1st gen 4runner and whether it be rock crawling or expo/overlanding, I am passionate about this sport. Over the last 6 years, I have developed this passion for 4x4's and I was recently given an opportunity to use it to help others.

(the old truck, lol)
I was invited by ZZmikey to post on AZFJ and let you all know that I am in the midst of starting up. I would love your input as to what product(s) you all are in need of and would like to see produced here in AZ for affordable prices.
Don't hesitate to email me or give me a call. I would love to hear your ideas and get the opportunity to work with you to create exactly what you need to shape your 4x4 into what you need on the trail or on the street.
Thank you very much,
Joe Giuliano

Hi! Welcome to the board.
Show us what you've done! Nothing gets business like good fab-porn.
What's your fabrication background?

Thanks guys,
I have quite a bit of background in suspension. That's where it all started. I've done a number of solid axle swaps on some first gen/ second gen 4runners and am currently working on two others.

This one is my brother's 87 runner. It was the first truck we ever got and Sonoran Steel welded on the front hangers. I got the hang of it fast, and did everything else myself from that point on.
I have worked a lots of Tacoma and 3rd gen 4runner suspensions as well.
I have also made a few bumpers for 4runners, Tacomas, and Xterras.
I am working on a few projects as we speak like brackets to mount ax/shovel to FJ roof rack and a set of FJ rock sliders, so I will keep you guys updated on how everything turns out.
Thanks again for the welcome.
Joe

I'll share my wish list.
Mean looking rock sliders
Rear door hinge whip mount
Jerry can mount
An attachment or new roof rack that will extend for a shade awning to use while out shooting and double as support for a roof tent
Roof rack spare tire mount
A spare tire door delete option that could be used for storage or something
I know some of these things exist, but I fee they're cheap and or extremely over priced.

Doesn't putting the tire up higher cause your center of gravity to move up significantly? I personally like the swingouts on the rear bumper, but then I also wish the rear door was more like the FZJ80 Land Cruisers with the tailgate that comes down.

Are you going to fab any low profile roof racks?

Looks like the beginning of a beautiful thread!
I want to see metal shop porn on all these projects. Let the grinding begin!!

This is great feedback guys! Thank you!
I think that we can definitely look into making all of the things so far on this thread. I am currently working on a set of rock sliders for someone on AZFJ as well as a shovel/axe mount on a roof rack. I really want to explore skid plate designs (LCA, gas tank, engine, and trans skids). I know that they are a real necessity.
I will need a few test rigs for sure. If any of you are interested, I would love to work something out. My goal is to provide products that really serve specific needs and that people are going to benefit from.
Keep the ideas coming. I will be posting up some pics of final products as I finish them, so stay tuned!
Thanks,
Joe
