Anyone in the Tucson area need any work done? Very Happy

My mom lives in Green Valley...(1/2 the year) ...but is on Oregon trying to sell her house right there cuz she just bought another one in San Diego.

It seems like people ALWAYS need some help with handyman type stuff in Green Valley.

The thing is.......once you get a good name in a place like Green Valley (with all the old people) you could probably keep quite busy from referrals.

Yeah I am totally willing to help your mother out...I've worked in green valley for years doing windows and doors/remodeling. I will have to get a license to work down there most likely since its obviously not in city limits. BUt hey thats part of being a handy man. I just finished a french door (side job) for my fathers friend. I'm the best in town so if anyone needs windows or doors replaced or serviced let me know.

GLad you are already busy Kurt!

Are you still in business? I could use some help fixing a broken water line on the side of my house.

What's the best way to fix a crack in this:

It's the main supply line between the meter and the house.

Cut out the bad part and replace it...cover with dirt and hope the rest of the line is ok...

Or hire a plumber and wait a week while the city gets permits together to rip your whole yard to shit.

Sorry I'm retired Smile

No problem, I got it fixed. I'm just beat from all the work in the hot sun. I still managed to get some paid work done from home while taking breaks.

I ended going to three different stores to get all the right parts I needed, but it seems to be holding water now. Now my water meter isn't moving one single bit when nothing's on.

Time for dinner and a shower.
